Description
Oversized transmission cover for 1949 through 1951 Ford cars. 18 Gauge steel with a smooth transition from the floor pan to the height of oversized clearance. OEM style look. Transmission cover is a 2 piece design with adjustable angle from toe board to floor pan for a great fit.
When installing a newer style automatic transmission cover into the shoebox Ford with the OEM firewall and complete original floor, a oversized transmission cover will be needed to complete the installation.
The oversize clearance is large enough to cover most new automatics like Ford "AOD" and 4L60 and others. This new cover is designed into the OEM flange area for easy install, but allows for easy attachment to the drive shaft tunnel.
