Chevrolet Chevy Cameo GMC Suburban Bedside Driver Side Left 1955-1958

Premium quality piece made in the USA. Cameo & Suburban bed side is the steel inner bed side panel with the front and rear stake pocket and steel angle strip welded in place.

Cameo bed sides are different than a stepside bed side because of the bolt holes in the bedside, the welded nuts and shaped cutouts in the rear stake pocket that are required to attach the Cameo bed fiberglass skin and the Cameo tailgate with its unique latch system. Bolt holes are included in the bed side for attachment of braces and the tailgate cable retract mechanism.

The rear stake pocket has the welded nuts inside and the extra holes and clearances for the cable guide and tailgate latch assembly. The front stake pocket has the welded nuts inside for attaching the fiberglass bed side skin. Welded nuts are installed under the top edge of the bed side for attaching the chrome molding that holds the fiberglass skin in place. The stake pocket holes are included as original and the bed side and stake pockets are made of 16-gage electro-galvanized steel. They are ready to primer and bolt to the truck.
